BidVision is a bid-sheet search tool for airline crew. It read your monthly bid package and helped you search and filter it. The private beta is over and nothing is available to download. This policy explains, plainly, what the app did with your information and what I still hold, which comes almost entirely from the signup form.
BidVision is made by FoxFinch Adaptations LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company. In this policy, "I," "me," and "my" mean FoxFinch Adaptations LLC.
This policy covers the BidVision beta and the notify list that outlives it. The beta was free and required no account. This policy does not promise or describe any future product. If I change how I handle your information, I will update this page (see section 10).
When you loaded a bid package into BidVision, the app parsed and displayed it entirely on your device. Your schedule, your trip data, and the PDF itself:
BidVision needed no account and no internet connection to read and filter your bid sheet. I operate no servers that receive your airline or schedule data, because there are none.
If you chose to send me a screenshot, a bid sheet, or other feedback, I received what you sent and used it only to help you and improve BidVision. It sits wherever you sent it (for example, in my email). Ask me and I will delete what I can.
The signup form was how people joined the beta. It now works only as a notify list. The form currently collects:
Earlier signups gave more. Earlier versions of the form also collected your device/platform, and, optionally, your phone number and your group-chat/SMS preference (if you wanted to join the tester group chat). The form no longer asks for any of these, but the records from earlier signups still contain them.
Download log. While downloads were open, each download was logged against the tester's email address, with the time, the platform, and the build version, in the same spreadsheet as the signups. Nothing is downloadable now, so nothing new is being added to that log.
What I used it for. While the beta ran, I used this information to send your access code and welcome email, to send beta updates, to understand who was testing on what, and to respond to feedback. Access codes are no longer issued, so those uses have ended. I now use it only to write to you if there is ever something new worth trying. I do not use it for advertising, and I do not sell it or share it with anyone else.
Where it is stored. The signup records and the download log are in a Google Sheet that I own, in Google Workspace. Emails are sent through Google's services (Gmail and Apps Script) from hello@bidvision.app. You can ask me to update or delete your information at any time (see sections 6 and 7).
The website (bidvision.app) is a set of static pages hosted on GitHub Pages. I do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies.
Two ordinary things happen when any website loads:
The signup page also stores some information in your browser's localStorage: the name and email you entered, and a few flags the page uses to remember where you were in the process. This stays in your browser on your device. Clearing your browser's site data for bidvision.app removes it.

Each handles data under its own privacy policy. I do not share your information with anyone else, and I never sell it.
The beta has ended, and I am keeping your contact details. I am keeping the signup records (name, email, base, and for earlier signups the other fields listed in section 2) and the download log, so that I can write to you if there is ever something new worth trying. I am not promising that there will be. I have not set an end date for keeping them.
This is a change. An earlier version of this policy said I would delete your contact details when the beta ended. I am not doing that, and you may have signed up under the earlier wording, so I want to be plain about it.
You can ask me to delete your information at any time. Reply to any email from me, or write to hello@bidvision.app, and I will delete your details from the signup spreadsheet, including any phone number and your entries in the download log. Emails we have exchanged sit in my mailbox. If you want those deleted too, say so and I will.
I use reasonable measures to protect the limited information I hold (for example, access-controlled Google Workspace). No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security. Your bid sheets never reached me in the first place, because the app kept them on your own device.
BidVision is a professional tool for working flight attendants and is not directed to children. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If I change how I handle information, I will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. For material changes affecting people on the notify list, I will also tell you by email.
